AXA has recently launched a new initiative focused on educating its individual shareholders about climate change, demonstrating its dedication to responsible corporate practices in light of environmental issues. Having successfully trained 96% of its employees on climate change, AXA is now extending its efforts to raise climate awareness to shareholders at all levels within the company. The Climate School, developed by AXA Climate, offers shareholders the chance to expand their knowledge on the impacts of climate change and strategies to mitigate them.
AXA's digital micro-learning platform, developed in collaboration with over 120 international experts, provides a variety of courses on environmental and sustainable transition topics. With the motto "Science at the heart of actions," AXA aims to deepen the understanding of how climate change affects the environment and businesses, as well as explore practical solutions for individuals and companies to address these challenges. This initiative is in line with AXA's broader strategy to promote non-financial knowledge essential for a sustainable business transition and to contribute to its sustainability goals in the insurance sector. Ulrike Decoene, AXA's Group Chief Communications, Brand, and Sustainability Officer, emphasized the insurer's commitment to using science to tackle environmental issues. Antoine Denoix, CEO of AXA Climate, emphasized the importance of the training program in helping clients navigate their ecological transitions and adapt to climate change. By expanding the knowledge of individual shareholders, AXA is taking a significant step towards achieving its climate goals and supporting all stakeholders in their journey towards sustainability.AXA Introduces Climate Change Training Program for Stakeholders
