Corvus Insurance has just rolled out its new and improved Tech E+O product, offering a wider range of coverage options in collaboration with Travelers. This expansion aims to cater to the specific needs of technology companies, including small to large enterprises.
Corvus' team of underwriters dedicated to Tech E+O work closely with brokers to provide coverage for technology and professional services risks for businesses with annual revenues of up to $2 billion.
Additionally, the insurer offers an in-house claims team and Corvus Signal risk prevention service, which includes on-call risk advisors and customized threat alerts. Mike Karbassi, the chief underwriting officer at Corvus, highlighted the expanded product's ability to meet the needs of a larger client base.
He also mentioned that every Smart Tech E+O policyholder will benefit from the Corvus Signal risk prevention services throughout the policy term, as well as the reassurance of a fully in-house claims team with extensive experience in handling cyber incidents.In a related development, last month Travelers completed its acquisition of Corvus for $435 million.
