Everest Insurance, a division of Everest Group, has recently introduced a unique fixed indemnity insurance product to expand its accident and health portfolio. The Group Fixed Indemnity Insurance is specifically designed for companies and association groups seeking alternatives to traditional ACA health insurance. Shawn Austin, senior vice president and head of accident and health for North America at Everest, stated that the new offering is in response to the increasing demand in the market for customized and cost-effective solutions.

With a focus on virtual care options, the insurance product aims to help employers and associations adapt to the evolving healthcare landscape and improve access to comprehensive care. Austin emphasized that the Group Fixed Indemnity Insurance draws on Everest's extensive experience and insights into the needs of its customers. The policy offers customizable benefits and services in a single package, with a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.

This new insurance product will cater to individuals with high deductible primary medical coverage, providing additional benefits to supplement their existing plans. It will be available for quoting through all of Everest's distribution partners, both existing and new. In a strategic move to enhance its offerings, Everest has partnered with Goodpath, a health and wellness marketplace.

This collaboration allows employer groups and associations to access virtual care services for chronic conditions and receive multidisciplinary care, including personalized health coaching through the GoodpathDirect app.
