New Head of Program Management MGA Appointed by Amwins

Amwins Program Underwriters (APU) has announced the appointment of Jon Beckham as their new head, taking over from the retiring Ben Francavilla. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Beckham's background includes leadership roles at Beat Capital Partners and DUAL North America, focusing on program development, business operations, and capacity management. In his new role, Beckham will be responsible for overseeing the operations and growth of APU's 35 insurance programs tailored to niche industries.

APU, with a team of over 175 employees spread across nine locations in the US, generates an impressive $550 million in annual premium. Ruan Armijo, president of Amwins Underwriting, expressed excitement about Beckham's appointment, highlighting his industry expertise and underwriting knowledge.
